All the screens are untouched. I saw the game in motion (Endor is unbelievable). You'll all see it soon enough when we post the teaser movie on Gamers.com. It's a long trailer, and the footage is incredible.

The speederbike level on Endor is a track, and the trees whiz by at blazing speed. When you open up the throttle (click in the right trigger the whole way) you even get a nifty blur effect. When you're driving an AT-ST on Endor as Chewbacca, you'll have multiple routes through the forest. Besides commanding the Ewoks to launch catapults, you can also shoot log-pile boobytraps to unleash a flood of timber and trip enemy AT-STs.

I thought the Endor level was the most impressive stage I saw. The screens don't capture how every single fern and bush waves in the wind and the way the sunbeams shift on the floor under the tree canopy. It's just like being in Muir Woods outside of San Fran, where Lucas filmed the Endor scenes. We joked that the California State Park Service should license the software for virtual tours.

I don't think they've changed the flight mechanics. From what I could tell, it was the same.

The on-foot missions are very cool--you'll face a LOT of enemies. The wide-open spaces--such as the Yavin base--even kinda reminded me of a 3D Robotron, with swarms of enemies coming from all directions and laser blasts flying everywhere.

The lighting in the indoor areas is very dramatic, too, with lots of individual light sources and shadows. Nothing's faked--these are all geniune light sources. The perspective is similar to the hangar ship-selection screen in Rogue Leader (Factor 5 wanted to include some on-foot action in that game but ran out of time). The view is pulled back and a bit above your character. Oh, and you usually have at least one partner in battle--Chewie, Wedge, Lando, Han (it depends on the movie scene) and you can give these folks orders with the crosspad, as if they're wingmen. Factor 5 wanted to keep the play mechanics the same whether you were flyin' or runnin' or riding a Tauntaun.
Link.

This game sounds pretty damn amazing, I loved RL.
