here's some new Vectorman news
Quote:
Sega of America has confirmed that the new title will indeed be at E3. Right now, it is tentatively being called Vectorman (creative isn't it?) and is scheduled for an early 2004 release.
Currently in development for the PlayStation 2, Vectorman is a third-person shooter in which players take on the role of - you guessed it - Vectorman, a robotic soldier capable of changing into different forms. Players will have access to 15 weapons and as many as 25 upgrades while exploring the planet known as Gamma 6. Gamers will have to rescue Gamma 6 from the evil orbot named Volt. Sega claims that enemies in this new 3D Vectorman will feature advanced AI which will allow them to take cover when attacked or formulate strategies using different objects in the environment.
"Vectorman doles out destruction in spades," said Mike Fischer, vice president of marketing, Sega of America. "With a massive arsenal of circuit-shredding weapons and upgrades, things are bound to get messy. You'll almost start feeling bad for the orbots. Almost."
