No... you obviously dont know what you are talking about. MS isn't going to try to make a profit until they know they can w/o the risk of being pushed out of the game industry all-together. MS could try for a profit right now, but they don't and probably will
never need it.
In other words, MS will most likely do with Xbox 2, 3, 4, 5, etc exactly what they do with Xbox as long as they feel their grip is getting stronger with each try. And if they become like Sony, then they can spend just like they do on XBox today, and still pull a profit.
But either way, you statement may be true, because why would they want what they simply don't need at this point?
