Ok, you all have short memories.
THE BEST egm april fools joke was from 98. There was a trick for goldeneye that said that you needed to go into 007 mode (the thing that let you adjust health and whatnot) and set all of the sliders so that the game was as difficult as possible.Then you had to go into the Aztec level (which was BY FAR the hardest level in the game) and beat all of the 00 agent objectives under a certian time limit. If you could do it you would unlock playable sean connery/roger moore/timothy dalton james bond's for multiplayer (or so EGM would have you believe.) they got hate mail for 2 years for that one.
There was also that one about unlocking that secert guy in street fighter, but I don't remember the specifics.
