I could easily write 500 words or more on the nature of truth. But instead, I'll just give you a few seedlings:

Ever notice that different people perceive different things as truths? This can be about issues like religion, but it can also be about every day things. One eyewitness thinks the truth is that a burly man charged into the bank holding a gun and shouted "Give me the dope!" Another eyewitness thinks the truth is that a burly man walked into the bank holding a black comb and shouted "Give me the dough!" And of course, the robber thinks the truth is something else.

One person thinks that robber is a monster. The robber's mother thinks he's an essentially good person who fell on hard times.

The true world for us humans has many colors ranging from red to purple, but not so for a dog or a bee. So what's the truth about the appearance of the world?

Do you see where I'm going with this?
