I don't know... but one thing that was sorely lacking this generation was a damn good Mario Game at release. Most of the time it's been the console seller for the first few months of it's life. I guess releasing a Super Smash Brothers Online Tournament or something to that effect, as while as a solid Mario titles, would definitely pick it up right off the ground quickly.
As for the franchises I'd like to see more. More more more. I don't care who they hire as a designer, but I just want more Nintendo games.. well... don't we all? As long as the quality factor doesn't suffer the quantity factor can go through the roof for all I care. Plus, with these last years with the GCN, it's time to start making up to 3rd parties like Konami that don't like them for jack. They better build up their reputation for good games. We know what their capable of. Now it's time to show it again so they'll see more sales.
For some more ideas, I'd want a Donkey Kong game if we don't get one this gen. I loved Donkey Kong Country but I hated Donkey Kong 64 for some reason. Also, a Fox game would be nice. And I think I speak for everyone when I say I want a long, hard, realistic, beautiful, master-piece Zelda. Console seller right there if you ask me.
