I think you missed out the real problem with Spy-ware/Ad-ware it SLOWS DOWN YOUR NET SPEED!!!!! and most Spy ware programs don't even look at your harddrive theres no money in it. They tend to look at what sites you goto online and then sell the info to places like Yahoo and Lycos.
Best way around it is Ad-Aware
