Franz and Ruby are mounted. My weapons aren't fully upgraded... Money problem. And it sucks you can't go over $999,999. I thought I had a lot of money but upgrading cost a lot. I can upgrade my weapons to level 15 and my weapon level with Chris is 11. (Yeah, that sucks  )
What's the maximum level a weapon can be upgraded to?

You need to level up a bit, and bring someone with a Flowing Rune. Use the Silent Lake spell so Sarah and those damn fairies can't cast any magic. It works especially great because that stupid ghost ship summon that Sarah uses is annoying. I had to fight it the hard way because I didn't notice that the Flowing Rune had this ability. And like I said, go fight those on screen bosses at North Cavern, Flame Champion Hideaway, and Mountain Path. They will each give you over 100,000 potch.
EDIT: I suggest you bring Nicolas. He joins with Duke's team. Take out Gau and stick Nicloas in there. Nicloas has THE highest defense AND strength. When I was fighting Yuber, he was doing 300 damage to everyone else but only 90 damage to Nicolas.
