Yeah, I read The Lord of the Rings stuff a few years back. It wasn't bad, I guess. I don't really like to read fantasy books. The movie was alright. It wasn't as incredible as everyone makes it out to be, but it was...nice. Overall, a pretty mediocre experience, though. Honestly it isn't even my favorite Peter Jackson film. Dead Alive was much better. Great mixture of comedy and extreme violence
I don't know, maybe the reason I didn't like The Lord of the Rings movie much is because I don't like to watch fantasies, either. Except for The Wizard of Oz, of course.
