You also get the first month free. So if you don't like it you can cancel your "hunter license" and just play it offline. Visually its a pretty lazy port. Its exactly like the Dreamcast version with some blur effects on the bosses.

Like Nemesis said its pretty much a taste thing. A couple of my friends, me included, play it regularly (at least on DC I just got it for Cube) and at least one of my friend's absolutely hated it for Dreamcast. Mostly for its lack of levels and simplistic design. The Gamecube version corrects that a little with the cool Episode II levels. It plays not unlike Diablo or Gauntlet, so if you liked either of those you'll probably like this game. On the other hand if you like Diablo a lot you may just want to stick with that. Outside of the more creative, IMO, art design PSO doesn't have as many levels or any of the randomness of Diablo. Its also not free online like Diablo so....

I don't want to go off on some strange unbeaten path but yeah I like it. Its got great multiplayer on one TV too.
