had to buy a new one prolly coulda fixed it with a little sodering, but hey, i felt like upgrading.

and im done with it now anyway. new case. nice new motherboard. new DDR ram instead of my old SD, and it runs faster. and cooler too actually.

but please please PLEASE do me a favor. burn windows ME. (no i dont mean burn a copy, i mean litteratly BURN that pos. :P id rather have win3.1 over that.)

thanks for the info tho. just um. a week too late. hehe
I'd "burn" any Windows OS made after 3x, excpet I'd have nothign to play my DOS games on , as for which one I'd seriously like to "burn" and I don't mean a CD either, that'd have to be XP, even without the XP OS, my M$ Office XP program needed an SP 1 upgrade, and I hate having to update software, even if it is free, never had that problem with Office 2000. I'd actually Side-Grade to Win2k before doing anythign with XP (even PC MAgazine says WIn2K is better than XP home) but as far as Windoze goes, why bother destroying a $250.0 dollar program, after I get used to inux, the Windoze ME Recovery CD will mkae a very nice "Coaster" for my drink. Seriously, ahve you ever bought a pack of Maxell CD-R's? Half of them are about as useful as the AOL Cd's that you get in the mail , I'd like to mail a few of them back to Steve Case and send a few to Bill Gates as well, I have plenty of AOL CD's the software is nowhere near in danger of being extinct (sarcasm)
