ok. looking for a new monitor. What ones are best??

i hear flat panel / LCD monitors are good for text.

but for Games/Graphics/Video a CRT is better?

and i have a DVI plug on my gfx card. i hear thoes can be used for flat panels to make it sharper. do they work on any CRT's?

Basically just what monitor woudl be best. (note, needs to be good for games)
