In two days, you can prepare to be totally and utterly humiliated. After all, the PVG debate team clearly outclasses anything GT can throw at us. But if you want to try to prove us wrong, read on for what you have to do.
There will be four topics of debate that will be discussed in the way outlined in the previous thread. Two of those topics will be submitted by PVG and two will be submitted by GT. Once the submissions are all in, they will be put into random order. That way, both sides will know well ahead of time what's going to be debated on a particular day and will be able to plan accordingly.
The PVG team is working on the two debate topics, but we have a pretty good idea of what they will be like. It's time for GT to come up with two topics. Remember, they have to be open ended questions with some substance to them. No "Which console is the best?" questions, please. An example of a topic might be something like "Hiroshi Yamauchi has predicted that there will soon be a shakedown in the videogame industry that drives many companies out of business. Is he right? If so, when is this shakedown going to happen, and how bad is it going to be?"
Got the idea? Let's get to it, then. Everything else is ready. We have the fine members of N-sider acting as judges (they don't know any of us, so they're impartial). All we need are your topic submissions. You have two days to decide on them.
If you're not too chicken.
