Without OpenGL they can't program for the GCN. Creating a new API will automaticly make it property of MS because part of the code HAS to be the same as OpenGL inorder to work.

Do you have a better source for this? Not that I don't believe some Xbox Australian fansite, but maybe a press release or something...
