Ehm the game wasn't really that easy.... I mean it wasn't hard but if you never wanted to faint (which I didn't) it was sometimes pretty though.
And the game has a 'kiddy' image, but still thousends of late-teenagers enjoyed it. I did.
I'm 18 now and I still like it!
And you're right about the anime, always the same story. I'd give away my dog when they would make an episode without Team Rocket. Man I hate those losers!
But seeing all the Pokémon in action was kinda cool.
