If you release demos when games are like 30% done, then they won't reflect what games are like... and that's probably what Nintendo would do...

Guy1: "Hey the game is 80% complete!"
Guy2: "Ok, well release some screenshots from the build that was 40% complete just for... I dunno but just do it!"

Havn't you ever gotten a demo disk on like PS2 or PSX? Sometimes the games are already out when the demo is released I think... they're still demos... the game is 100% complete, and now you can sort of test it along with other games and see if you wanna buy it
Good points. Yeah, I was kind of thinking along the lines that about demo disks that include games taht are 30-40% complete. And that is so Nintendo, too. Hmm, SMS is almost done, but lets release some screenshots from last year for no apparent reason. Oh well, that is Nintendo for ya.

And, I guess Moyamoto was not thinking about complete games as well. But again, Nintendo is Nintendo. They know that most of their first party games will sell millions of copies, so why waste time creating a demo of it? I can see of demo disks can spark interest in a game for some people, but with Nintendo's popularity and huge franchises, one must think if it is really worth it.
