Yo Bond, who called it!!! Brock over RVD in the finals. Brock almost looks superhuman in there he's so strong. He is green as hell though and his match with Test SUCKED, but then again it was with Test. The finish of the finals match was great though, and really made Brock to look like a monster.
The Taker/HHH match was one of the slowest, worst title matches I've seen in a long time. It really showed the Taker's age. On TV, the Taker looks great, but when he's asked to go for more than 5 minutes he really slows down. Plus the schmoz ending left me more than a little confused as to what the hell was going on. It all seemed to make very little sense. Plus, did EVERYONE have to get their finisher in at the end and have their music played? Ugh.
Hurrcane/Noble. Noble's redneck gimmick sucks and it is going to ruin his career in the long run. End of story. And isn't Nidia a WRESTLER instead of a WHORE? Looks like her career might be with Vivid Video instead of the WWE. Hurricane looked good though, and they hit one of the more innovative spots I've seen in a long time with the neck breaker off the top rope. It looked amazing. The WWE needs to bring back Rey soon though, masked, to put some heat back into the Lightheavy title.
Jericho/RVD. Pretty good, but RVD seemed to be taking it easy to keep fresh for the final inthat match. It should have been much better with 2 wrestlers of their quality in the ring.
Flair/Guererro. It was ok. A coup0le botched spots, but that was because I think Guererro was asking too much of the old man. When they tried to bridge out to a standing position, I immediately shook my head as I knew it was going to fail and make Flair look old. If the WWE is going to make Flair an active wrestler again, they should reform the Horsemen to second him and give him the upper hand through devious means. Flair looked too old in there with Eddie. If Flair alters his style and keeps to what he knows he can do, instead of trying to "run with the younguns" he'll be much better off. And where are they going with the whole Benoit angle? It just looks like an excuse to get him back on TV right now.
Molly/Trish. Trish is actually starting to look like a legitimate champ, instead of just T&A. It was actually an OK womens match in the WWF... go figure.
Angle/Hogan. THANK GOD ANGLE WON. Plus the fact that he made Hogan tap faster than Mr. Bojangles on speed was even better. It makes Angle look like a real contender again and makes the Ankle lock look even more deadly. Now, only if the WWE would actually follow up this major rub Angle has gotten with a main event feud... doubt it.
But what really hurt the PPV ws the lack of ANY variety. Would have ONE lousy Tag match been so bad? Or a hardcore match? Or ANYTHING other than a straight singles match? In those regards KoR was a very poorly booked PPV.
