*Possible Spoilers*

After using just the 3.1 part of the main quest of the guide it has already helped a ton and I'm off to a great start compared to me previous starts. I advise starting all over again if your very confused with finding your own path and all of the side quests. Set up your character and everything, then after you complete that take everything in the one room (Where there are no guards to see you take all the items, if there are guards or commons in an area where you take items they will report you to the guards and start attacking you in force) that leads outdoors to where the ring is that you should give to it's rightful owner. The room is filled with your weapon (a dagger) and some other stuff that should be useful for selling in the future. At first I tried to find my own quest, side quest, whatever. The one I was trying to do involved finding a man dead, and strip him of all of his possessions and try to find his murder and some other dead man reporting them to first man you meet. Anyway, that made completely no sense to me and I got confused way too many times and had to start over way too many times. I think that it is worth going back to the quest later, but first I advise you first get settled in a guild and have a sense of belonging before you try a side quest.

From the information I got from the guide you should board the Silt Strider, which is found across the bridge to the right of the screen and up the dirt path to the right. Remember to mention your friend for a special discount in the price of traveling. Travel to Balmora for a discount price. Then you will be able to find Caius there in Balmora, he is in the northeastern part of town how you look at the town when you first come to it off of the Sil Strider. The town is also fun to explore and other things while searching for Caiu's house or just looking around. Caius will accept you into the guild and everything is right again in the world of Morrowind.

I haven't got past Caiu's accepting you into the guild yet, and I don't plan to do anymore today after my tens of headaches. But there should be more to come.
