With less than a week left until the WC starts, everybody's talking about it here. In the papers, on TV, in school, everywhere. I've even got a few friends who are betting that we will beat Brazil.
Then there's the competitions. Until about 3 weeks ago, there was a competition which got you tickets for the Brazil match. Another one, which ended about a month ago, gave away tickets for the China match.
Of course, the reason for this is because this is only our second time in he cup (the other one was in '54 - a little boy picked our name out of a hat
).
How's it in your country? Is it on everybdy's mind, or is it a "who cares" situation?
