1. Legend of Zelda : Link to the Past

This one just can't be beaten for me. As much as I've enjoyed the 3D games, I think this version is the best. I've waited for them to make a better Zelda, but I don't think it's been done. Ages and Seasons for Gameboy Color came close, but the pace and mood of Link to the Past is just amazing.

2. Super Mario World

Again, I think this version is the best Mario. I've played and beaten this game more than any other game I believe, and I never really get tired of it. It's simply fun, and the graphics are still beautiful. I also think the SNES era was a perfect age for me.

3. Secret of Mana

Another SNES game, but I guess that's my general mood. After just replaying this recently with some friends, it all came back to me. Just the fact that it's a 3-player action RPG is great enough for me. The mood, music, and story are fun as well. I think just playing a long game like this with a couple friends is too fun.

4. Bubble Bobble

This is a very simple game at it's core, but yet again, so fun. Another 2 player co-op game, this is another one I can always go back to and enjoy. Trying collect this elusive "secret letters", getting the proper warps, etc...Still such a good game.

5. Shenmue 2

I loved the first one, but liked this one even more. This game's graphic beauty and emotion has definitely always stayed with me. I remember getting the UK import for my Dreamcast from my local Electronics Boutique. Part of the reason I love this game is that it never really even came out for the DC in the US, but I had it. I actually may fire up my DC just to try to play this again.
