Because the games wouldn't sell...
What Old Skool is saying is that the userbase is what developers look at, not the total amount of sales.
Why do you think Sonic Adventure was only ported to GCN??? Nintendo didn't pay for it, did they? It's because Sonic has no competition on Gamecube, and Gamecube fans are more likely to buy that game than Xbox or Ps2 fans. Sega barely spend anything to port it (and even got help from Nintendo advertizing)... and it became a million seller...
Now... why would Shunume 3 only be on Xbox? Simple, Xbox owners are said to be more hardcore gamers than Ps2 and GCN owners. So Sega wouldn't have to spend as much for Shenume to sell on Xbox.
Just an example.

Ahh I've been waiting for you to respond..hehehe
Now I got you I have to say that it your .......
Right in a way

....I guess it has to do with the userbase...as well as the market share...but I guess I misunderstood what Old skool was saying....unless you wer putting words in his mouths.

j/k
And maybe Nintendo didn't get those games because of the memory problems with the N64....I mean don't you find it strange that EA didn't support Nintendo64 with any sports games and now annouces a ton of them for Cube ( don't tell that the nintendo userbase has changed so drastically in about one year)...I think that the lack of sports games from EA had to do with the hardware of the 64....not the userbase this time. SO there
