Playmore, the owners of the Now defunct SNK are once again working on it. I haven't yet heard if it will be released in america yet. But I'm hoping it is as KOF is an awesome franchise. Also, any news on any new Capcom vs. games coming out. Some rumor awhile back that I never got confirmed/denied was that Capcom was thinking of a capcom vs. Dragonball Z(which I'm sure was fake, but it is capcom).

Feel free to discuss your favorite 2D fighters in this thread. Personally I enjoy King of the Fighters series. Street Fighter/The VS. Series, Guilty Gear X, Last Blade 2, and Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Speaking of which, I wish Garou would be released for PS2(if it has, someone let me know).

Is this a 2d fighting fan? Coz there aren't many around here.

I have KOF2k1 on PC as we speak, but of course i'd prefer it on a console such as Ps2.

Must agree with you about KOF being an "Awesome franchise".

HOw's ur style? Do u dog it (I.E use Kensou, Heidern) and wait?

They have bad endings, graphics aren't nething spectacular, but it has one of the tightest fighting game engines known to man.

I'm into KOF (96 onward), CVS 2, MVC 2, Garou:Mark Of The Wolves, Tekken 4 (non 2d), VF4 (non 2d), DOA3 (non 2d). NEver got into Guilty Gear much. I don't mind the SF games (2d and 3d).

I like Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. This game is sick (and it doesn't feel dated).
