Don't get me wrong. I loved DA:O and played through it multiple times (including a playthrough leading up to DA2). I'm really looking forward to DA2. However, the things I like about RPGs don't really come across very well in a demo such as this. So, I didn't really enjoy it. As a sidenote, I probably wouldn't have liked the ME2 demo if it had come out before the game (since it came after, I haven't played it).

I was really just saying that to Acebot and BaB...who said he enjoyed the demo but not the action/cutscene/dialogue pattern? That's exactly what Mass Effect does!
As for not enjoying the demo because nothing "mattered"...when I first started playing it I felt that way, but then I realized I could say whatever I wanted and put points into whatever I wanted with no repercussions because I would be making my "real" character later. That made it a lot more enjoyable.
