I'm 99% sure this game is going to suck....

BUT

I'm not asking for much and I think most fans are on the same page. I think they will please everyone if:

A) The gameplay is polished instead of being innovative.

B) The game has all the stuff from the original (looks like it does).

C) And the game retains a sense of humor.

If Croteam has taught us anything, it is that humor, big guns, and BIG enemies is all you need for an awesome shooter. BTW, best game ever:

I'm not trying to plug Serious Sam that much in my Duke thread. The point is Duke had some basic fundamentals: Big Guns, Big Baddies, Humor & Tits. And for some shooters, that is all you need.
