Cell phones are the last technological frontier for me. I still have my original, "free-with-the-plan", flip-open, -3G cell phone from mid-2005. Froyo = android firmware 2.2 the new update.
providers and manufacturers don't really stay on the cutting edge of these updates. i know most android phones in canada are running 1.5 and 1.6.
But Googles Nexus one is their own phone. It can be purchased unlocked to any provider, and thus gets the benefits of updates strait from google.
Just trying out some cool features on 2.2
Flash works like a charm, and its what you expect from flash. The cloud to phone push is really neat and allows me to send a link form my computer strait to my phone with the push of a button. Turning my phone into a wifi hotspot is a really cool function too. Overall everything runs really smooth. Now i have to wait for 3.0 aka "Gingerbread"
