Anyway, I've been prescribed glasses almost 8 years ago, but started wearing them regularly for the last 6 months. It'll probably take about a month to adjust, but I still sometimes get headaches.

Yeah, not sure on the +25 thing or whatever. Don't quote me on that.

Yessir! I will give it a week or two.
To clarify: with my bad eye (right eye), when I am not wearing glasses I can read the words on my computer screen without any issue. Things just become a shitty blur when I start looking at stuff past a few feet in front of me. When I put the glasses on and just look with my right eye, the words on my computer are a bit blurry, smaller, and harder to focus. BUT, I can get it to sort of focus.
I've proposed 3 explanations, and have given myself a 2-week deadline to see improvement (no pun intended) or go back to recheck the prescription.
1) It is a bad prescription.
2) My brain is still adjusting to having 2 different fields of depth in each eye. Each eye sends a separate picture to the brain, but it gets combined into one picture.
3) This is just a caveat of having glasses for nearsightedness. We shall see.
And thank you for the input so far, folks.
