But I think I'm most excited for that line game. Sadly, my gaming days now would best be filled by short, sweet, jump-in and jump-out type games, instead of the epic games of yore.

Just barely touched Uncharted 2. I should have waited until the price dropped, since I just played Uncharted so I'm not really ready for a new one already. The multiplayer was actually pretty fun on it. And I just picked up Fallout 3 because I saw it for $18 and remembered hearing how great it was, so I bought it. How epic is that game? I honestly have no idea... hopefully I didn't just get myself into a long game with that one...
I'm right there with you, I know people are complaining about games getting shorter, but honestly I like em that way. Less time to invest to see it from beginning to end, and less filler so less likely to get bored.

I mean I've started several RPGs this generation and just got bored after like the 10 hour mark because I hardly feel like I'm making any progress. In 10 hours, I had seen most of Uncharted 1/2, Batman, Mario Galaxy and NSMBW. I had beaten both Gears of War and Halo 3/ODST. So yeah bring on the shorter games!

That being said,
