I don't think signing Vick was a gamble. We can debate if it was a poor decision, but I don't think it was a gamble. I don't think anyone expected Kolb to play as good as he is...if he keeps this up, well damn. And McNabb as good as he is (and I really like McNabb), he has sort of become a liability. I think Philly is considering their options for a future without McNabb. But I'm not from Philly so I don't know the inner workings of that organization. But yeah, signing Vick seemed like an effort to secure a possible Quarterback weapon in case said current Quarterback craps out.
The question is will Vick ever be as good as he was when he played for Atlanta?
On a more serious note, Pittsburgh needs to step things up...1-2 is almost as unacceptable as the Titans going 0-3.
