Heard plenty of fireworks. Didn't see a single one. The buildings/trees blocked everything. My dog hid in the bathroom the entire night rocking back and forth on her hindquarters muttering "it's just stupid humans it's just stupid humans" again and again.

Indian rice for dinner. Can't get more American than that.
