In hindsight, I think posting to the article was a bad decision, as a lot of people seem to be sticking to that.
I just posted it because it was what got me thinking.
With that said, I won't necessarily agree with you, but I'm pretty sure disagreeing with you won't change your opinion.
I guess where I'm coming from since I work with teens and some of them have been sexually abused or taken advantage of by adults, I think pedophilia is an awful crime.
Now you said you would have no problem doing it with a 16 year old for cash, but what about a 12 year old or a 10 year old? I think 16 is a fairly reasonable age because most people at that time are at least informed enough to start making decisions on their own. Personally, I turn 24 this week, the only time I'm looking at 16 year olds is when they come nagging me for something at work, and even then will hardly speak to them.
Paying for sex, I don't see as a big deal either. Whether people want to admit it or not, everyone exchanges goods for sex. Its the reason guys take girls out on dates, its a bit more dressed up, but we pretty much all have the same goal in mind.
