1UP , developer Free Radical (or what's left of it) has been purchased by Crytek, the developer of Crysis.
Though Free Radical stumbled last year with the release of their underwhelming PS3 exclusive Haze... *cough*
I have to admit that the idea of a current gen Timesplitters totally piques my interest.
Any other Timesplitters fans out there?

Regardless, the games were a lot of fun. They were unique, filled with quirky characters and odd multiplayer game modes; while keeping players guessing throughout bizarre plot lines... Timesplitters pulled off something special.
That being said, I can't help but wonder if this
uniqueness alone is enough for a series that has seemingly fallen through the cracks to standout against massive titles the likes of: Killzone, Halo, CoD, or GoW?
Seriously... multiplayer monkey-shootin' action? Have you no soul?
This game has to be made.
