Re: Car advice
Chargers eh? well, there's the dandy Dodge Challenger. Pontiac firebird, chevy camaro, nova, gran torino, ......so are you kidding? If you like chargers, but you don't know what other cars are of the same type, maybe you shouldn't be buying one. You do realize that a lot of work is involved in maintaining a vehicle that old. If it doesn't need regular service then expect to pay a lot for one in good shape. Do you know how to work on cars yourself? Mechanic fees are super steep for simple do-it-yourself fixes. Are you prepared to be spanked by the guy in a honda civic? Cuz if this is about wanting a fast car you might want to look at something newer. Performance out of an old muscle car is only competitive if you're willing to have a 400 + engine. I understand the appeal of muscle cars but it's so impractical, I'm having a hard time suggesting anything. What's your price range? You don't want to be driving a charger in the winter, especially if it's performance geared. Muscle cars from the 60's-70's are a hobby thing, for older guys who can afford multiple vehicles and all the other expenses involved.
