Acqua Di Gio is insanely popular, yeah. Hahaha. I've never tried Allure Homme, but I've heard good things. I did try Allure Homme Sport and I loved it! My dad owns that.
Distribution? I go craaaaaazy. Two sprays to the chest, one to the back of the neck for sillage, and one on each forearm. If I'm trying something out, I use the wrists. Otherwise, anything on the wrists rubs right off.
I try to get the pulse points and the hair, though. Hair is like a trap for scent - it holds on and never lets go. And luckily for me, I'm a hairy mofo.
Also, you should never rub cologne.
If you rub cologne anywhere on your skin, you rub your natural body oils into it which kills longevity exponentially. Whenever you apply you should pat it on!
