I'm actually not a twitch shooter, I'm terrible at it. I guess my reflexes aren't fast enough or my hand is just too shaky. It's what makes me a bad Scout and an even worse Sniper. One of the reasons I like TF2 is that twitch shooting, for most of the other classes, isn't important. Strategy and tactics are.
My play style and shooting style revolved more around prediction and timing, guessing how the enemy is going to move. I think it makes me a good demoman, for some reason predicting the arc of a grenade and having it land directly on a guy I see coming is so much easier for me than trying to aim a sniper rifle or get the bead of a pistol on them.
Playing soldier for me is kind of the same. I shoot my rockets at the ground where I think an enemy is going to be. I'll fire one rocket to the right, and immediately launch another to the left of them. A lot of people will dodge right into it.
