Fans of the show will recall that Barney himself violated one of the most sacred tenets of the Bro Code, leading to a serious falling-out between him and his best bro Ted. [Note: I had to correct the previous sentence -- sorry for the error, that's what I get for writing these things at 1 a.m.] (Above left, Neil Patrick Harris as Barney in a flashback from "The Goat.")
