What good would it be to elect a president with experience if you don't even agree with what those experiences taught him? Experience for experience sake is another form of naivety, that they will somehow, naturally, be a good president because of it.

Point taken. Historically I've been a huge fan of John McCain and his policies, excluding his absolutist anti-abortion stance, so I can see how you would not vote for him if you were on the other side of the isle.
I've never understood why anyone is on the other side of the isle, though.
