I don't hate gamestop... They tend to have a better selection than the big box stores, and you can sometimes find some nice deals on used games (with like 10 different stickers plastered all over the case)...
But trade-in values at gamestop are generally at least $10 less than what you could get online, and prices of used games are generally $10 higher than what you could get them for online...
There's a copy of GTAIV for 360 selling for $38 on half.com from a seller with 100% positive feedback... "Complete and in perfect condition! Played through once by one adult owner. Non-smoking house."...
At gamestop it'll probably have scratches, be plastered in stickers, not be guaranteed to come with manual and map, and still cost $55...
Halo 3 is $15 cheaper, Mass Effect is $10 cheaper, and those savings right there pay for a copy of Bioshock, which comes in at $25 ($10 cheaper than gamestop)...
