. Okay okay, it comes from the leader of the Space Pirates, Ridley, in the game Metroid (like most people didn't know that anyways

). Actually when I was trying to come up with a name, I thought about using Kraid, but in the end I chose Ridley because I thought he looked cooler and I found an avatar of him which I really liked.
