Ok I might as well revive this thread because it was one of the only times I was serious yesterday. I'll change the thread title too.
Anyways, first off, this link was real. It's a joke that Kojima and team did: put Altair from Assassin's Creed in MGS4. I like it.

Also, I just finished Portable Ops tonight instead of playing MGS2 and I can carefully say that I am clearer about the storyline but it's still very convoluted. I have this theory that I want to run by you guys, though: I'm finding a lot of similarities between Frank Jaeger/Null/Gray Fox/Cyborg Ninja and Raiden/Jack the Ripper/also Cyborg ninja. Is it just me or did the same cloning project clone Frank Jaeger AND Big Boss, creating both Raiden AND Les Enfants Teribles, respectively? I mean, we only know that Raiden was rescued from the Liberian civil war where he was an AMAZING child soldier, and then subsequently trained to be the "perfect soldier" through VR and now, in MGS4, apparently as a freaking Cyborg. The coincidences are uncanny, and I fully except MGS4 to cover this in some part. However, my theory is only disproved by the fact that Olga played the "Cyborg Ninja" as an Agent for the Patriots. Maybe it was a device used to interest Raiden in the Cyborg-Ninja image, since it was his only real salvation during MGS2.
Anyways, enough rambling about storyline. I can't wait until MGS4.
