I agree that they don't belong. It's completely random and awkward mixing of styles.
I enjoyed SC2's console specific characters (Link, Spawn) because they still
kind of fit in.
Hell, along with Yoda and Vader, why don't they add in Mega Man and Pikachu and Mr. Spock?
