It's Canada, it's BC, and more importantly it's the Lower Mainland. The cops here smoke joints in their cars on breaks. If you're not dealing, and don't have more than three ounces on you, with intent to sell, you won't get arrested. Walking down a street with a joint is nothing. Kids used to roll it in class when I was in school, and smoke it in the smoke-pit during school itself.

There is a simple solution to this.
Be prepared.
Stock up on Doritos, celery, bread for making toast, make sure you have ample peanut-butter, and a library of CD's on hand.
