But you're just stating the general fact that most things funny for shock value are indeed offensive, which I'm sure 90% of us know already.
If it's meant to be shockingly funny, it pretty much
has to be offensive - or else it's not shocking.
I didn't miss your point at all. I was just saying yes, it's offensive, but it's a light-hearted offensive. Sure it's bad, but it's comedy - a fine line of comedy - but comedy nonetheless.
