I'm writing my thesis (on carbon sequestration [planting trees] as compensation for air travel) and I had a hard time finding scientific articles to back up my statements. I didn't want to use Wikipedia because I was afraid it wouldn't be scientific enough, but Google Scholar and other scientific databases weren't helping me out.
Then I realised that Wikipedia has references to their sources these days. So now I'm basicly finding everything I need.
