This sounds more like friend material to me.
No matter how amazing you think she is, or how awesome she seems to be, there'll always be that distant level of awkwardness, unless you two can get over your hormonal rage and actually talk.
Right now, it seems (though I know nothing of you two) you could be masking the awkwardness of hanging out with playing games. You both dont have to talk, and you're both still together. So it's as if you're cheating your way along. Sure you're spending time with eachother, but you're not really getting to know eachother, or talking about...well...
anything.
