I'm willing to go the distance to make customers happy, but I thought it would be fun to list my grievances with customers like Gink did.

Anywhere you work, there will be minor things that annoy you about customers.

I don't like it when customers leave stuff all over the place. But I still pick up after them and reorganize the wall and etc. etc.

I like my job and all that. But after going through the same annoying stuff over and over it does get to you.

I am allowed to be bothered by stuff that customers do. It's mostly human nature. But just because I'm bothered doesn't mean I won't go that extra mile to make a customer happy. Because I always do. Often at great inconvenience to myself. Because that's my job.

Though it would be great if more customers took into consideration, the people who work at the establishments. It's as simple as not making a mess, or being more patient when something has gone awry that is out of an employee's control.

I don't agree with the mind set that it's okay to go into a store and make a mess because someone else should have to clean up after you because it's their job. I personally think that is a lazy and inconsiderate attitude. Instead of leaving food all over your table at a fast food restaurant, or dumping your popcorn on the floor, or messing up the walls at the video store, take that few seconds to clean up after yourself. Generally retail jobs and the like aren't incredibly challenging but people who work at these places still have a lot that they need to get done. Making a big mess just adds to that pile. It's simple consideration for your fellow man.

And if someone have to argue from the stand point that they shouldn't have to be considerate, well then, I guess that's not a person I can respect very much.

Oh and also: People really should stop stealing crap from my store. That's the most inconsiderate thing of all.
