Survivor is a game played by 16 people divided into two teams (or tribes) of 8. These tribes compete in a series of challenges for immunity. When a tribe wins a challenge they gain immunity and do not have to vote off one of their members. At what point do the tribes merge? When eight survivors are left total? The way I read it, it seems that, hypothetically, if one tribe wins the first eight challenges in a row, then they never have to knock off a team member.
