Again, I will put this into terms of the US presidency. If the President, the Vice President, and the next 6 people who would take over were all killed, would the person who filled the presidency be any less competent than the person in the spot originally?
And my original point was that this will most likely spawn some sort of "So what, we're still evil, watch!" type sadistic bombing. Again, much like if the president and blah blah blah were killed, the US would respond with some sort of
something.
