Sony won't get nearly the royalty sales if it was exclusive. Then again, they had to pay money to keep SA on PS2, so.. who knows.
PS3-only owners (and I think there will be a lot of them) will remain relatively unphased because they pretty much expect it, unless they whine about not being special or whatever because it's dual-release now. Sony is the only one at the real loss here.

And it's only better for Microsoft in relative terms (in comparison to THIS gen, they're picking up a top franchise). For Sony, nothing changes (except for it being exclusive...but what fool believes that the game still wont sell ridiculously well on PS3 anyways?)
and gamers dont care about it not being exclusive...well maybe 0.5% or something like that
