Default Re: New TP info

Nintendo is trying to break the mold of franchise characters int he same game sense. They did TP the way they are because the fans wanted it. Satoru said recently he wants the next zelda to not be the standard Zelda we know and try something more different.

TP's delay is almost likely because they want to make it so that people will buy the Rev for these supposed "enhancements" beyond just hte Rev controller being supported.

Gamecube has had a decent run. Might not be the best Nintendo did but it still had its fair share of great titles. I didnt just buy the Gamecube because it was just Nintendo, but for the games that it was supposed to have. Granted, I bought it for NIntendo things but it had some decent 3rd party games also.

I think Nintendo has already learned from its mistakes of the E-Reader and GBA/GCN. But I think the idea of having Rev/DS connect without having to spend money on another cable is a fine idea. Its like PSP/PS3(sometimes PS2) connecting. As long as the incentive is enough to want to use both its fine, but having it be a requirement hurt alot of people or can. Thats why Square probably wont be convinced again to require a seperate accessory just to play a game. But if said accessory is included, it makes it better in the end.

But who knows where the console market will be 5 years from now. Things are volatile and you never know what will happen. People never expected the Xbox to do as well in the US as it has. But MS got companies to bring games to it (though some via shady ways maybe )
