Now I'm no bloody mary connoisseur, I've drank a few but have never bothered to know what goes in it (besides the clam juice), but don't they usually include alcohol? Or is the point that you make the bloody mary and then add alcohol to your liking -- ie. what's important is the recipe?
Just curious. I'd like to try this. I wish I had a kitchen currently.

The vodka is a given. Without the vodka its a Virgin Mary.
As for ingredients, the main elements to any bloody mary are Tomato Juice, Lemon Juice, Horseradish and Worchestershire sauce...
CRAP! I forgot the WC sauce in the recipe! I'll edit it.
Anyway, other than that its all to your liking. The Clamato and Clam juice is more of a southern thing (they call it a Caesar) but one that I like as it adds a great briney flavor to the mix that is both salty and tangy and compliments the lemon and tomato. This recipe is just my little contribution to the cast lexicon of Bloody Mary recipes.
